    Description

    Full-Frame Portrait Prime
85mm full-frame mid-telephoto prime designed for natural perspective head-and-shoulders portraits on Sony E-mount full-frame cameras.

    F1.8 Maximum Aperture
Bright f/1.8 maximum aperture delivers shallow depth of field and beautiful subject separation with smooth background bokeh.

Just 371 grams and 78 by 82 mm – far more portable than competing pro 85mm f/1.4 portrait primes.

    Advanced Optical Design
9 elements in 8 groups including one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element suppress chromatic aberration and deliver high resolution.

    9-Blade Circular Aperture
9-blade circular aperture diaphragm produces smooth, rounded bokeh balls in out-of-focus highlights.

    Double Linear Motor AF
Double linear motor autofocus system delivers fast, precise, quiet autofocus suitable for stills and 4K video.

    Customisable Focus Hold Button
Includes a customisable focus hold button and AF/MF switch on the barrel for quick on-the-fly control.

    67mm Filter Thread
67 mm filter thread shared with other Sony FE lenses for easy filter sharing.

    Dust and Moisture Resistance
Dust and moisture resistant construction for reliable use in challenging conditions.

    Close Focus to 0.8m
Minimum focus distance of 0.8 m (2.63 ft) with 0.13x maximum magnification.
