Description
Hybrid Instant Camera
A hybrid instant camera that captures to a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with a primary colour filter at 2560 x 1920 pixels, then prints selected images onto instax mini film. Images can be reviewed on the screen before printing, and reprinted from a history of up to 50 shots.
28mm F2.0 Lens
Focal length of 28 mm in 35mm film equivalent terms with an F2.0 aperture. Single AF with an AF illuminator focuses from 10 cm to infinity. Shutter speed runs 1/4 to 1/8000 second and sensitivity ISO 100 to 1600, both switching automatically.
100 Effect Combinations
Ten lens effects and ten film effects combine for 100 ways to finish an image, selected with the physical lens dial and film dial.
Printing
Prints at 1600 x 600 dots, or 800 x 600 when printed from the smartphone app, with a print output time of approximately 16 seconds. Exposure gradation covers RGB gradation of 256 colours. Images held in internal memory or on a memory card can be printed.
Smartphone Features
Bluetooth Ver. 4.2 (BLE) links the camera to the instax mini Evo app for smartphone image printing, remote shooting, printed image transfer and firmware updates.
Screen and Storage
3.0-inch TFT colour LCD with approximately 460,000 dots. Internal memory holds approximately 45 images, and a microSD or microSDHC card holds approximately 850 images per 1 GB.
Power and Body
Powered by an internal, non-removable lithium ion battery with built-in charging, giving approximately 100 prints from a full charge and taking approximately 2 to 3 hours to charge. The body measures 87 x 122.9 x 36 mm excluding projecting parts and weighs approximately 285 g. Operating environment is 5 to 40 degrees C at 20% to 80% humidity without condensation.
