Features a Canon-developed 35.9 x 24.0 mm full-frame CMOS sensor with approximately 26.2 effective megapixels, paired with a DIGIC 8 image processor.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF System
Phase-difference detection autofocus with up to 4,779 selectable AF positions. Supports Eye Detection AF in One-Shot and Servo AF modes. AF working range down to EV -5 (with f/1.2 lens, center AF point, at room temperature, ISO 100, One-Shot AF).
4K UHD and Full HD Video Recording
Records 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) video at 23.98 fps and Full HD (1920 x 1080) at up to 59.94 fps in MP4 format with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression.
OLED Electronic Viewfinder
OLED color electronic viewfinder with approximately 100% field of view coverage, 0.70x magnification, and a 22 mm eyepoint.
3.0-inch Vari-Angle Touchscreen LCD
Clear View LCD II with approximately 1.04 million dots, capacitive touch-screen panel, and approximately 100% coverage with 3:2 screen aspect ratio.
RF Mount with EF/EF-S Lens Compatibility
Native Canon RF mount supporting all RF lenses. Compatible with EF and EF-S lenses via optional Mount Adapter EF-EOS R.
