    Description

    S-Line Standard Zoom
Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S is the default S-Line standard zoom for Nikon Z mount full-frame bodies – the workhorse first lens for the Z6 III, Z7 II and Z8.

    Constant F4 Aperture
Constant f/4 maximum aperture across the entire 24-70mm zoom range delivers consistent exposure and predictable AF behaviour.

    Retractable Compact Design
Retractable design collapses to just 88.5 mm long when not in use, making it exceptionally portable for travel.

    Advanced Optical Design
14 elements in 11 groups including 1 ED, 1 aspherical ED and 3 aspherical elements, with Nano Crystal Coat to suppress flare and ghosting, deliver edge-to-edge sharpness with minimal chromatic aberration.

    Stepping Motor (STM)
A stepping motor (STM) delivers fast, precise, near-silent autofocus suitable for stills and 4K video.

    7-Blade Circular Aperture
7-blade circular aperture diaphragm produces smooth bokeh on out-of-focus highlights.

    Close Focus to 0.3m
Minimum focus distance of 0.3 m at the wide end with 0.30x maximum magnification at 70mm.

    72mm Filter Thread
72 mm filter thread accepts circular polarisers and ND filters.

    Dust and Drip Resistant
Weather-sealed S-Line construction with fluorine front coating protects against dust, moisture and smudges.

    Customisable Control Ring
Customisable control ring on the lens barrel can be assigned to focus (M/A), aperture or exposure compensation.
