ISO 80-102400 and 15+ Stop Latitude in S-Log3
Movie sensitivity runs from ISO 80 to 102400 equivalent, expandable to ISO 409600; stills from ISO 80 to 102400, expandable to ISO 40-409600. S-Log3 recording provides 15+ stops of latitude.

4K up to 120 fps and DCI 4K
Records 3840 x 2160 at up to 119.88p – Sony states a 10% image crop at 4K 120 fps – in XAVC HS and XAVC S with 4:2:2 10-bit sampling. XAVC S-I DCI 4K records at up to 59.94p and 600 Mbps, including 24.00p. Slow & Quick Motion reaches 240 fps in XAVC S HD (NTSC), recorded at 1420 x 804 effective pixels.

16-bit RAW over HDMI
Outputs 16-bit RAW at 4264 x 2408 over the HDMI Type-A connector at 59.94p, 50p, 29.97p, 25p and 23.98p, alongside YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit output.

S-Cinetone and Picture Profiles
S-Cinetone plus Picture Profiles PP1-PP6 and PP10-PP11 with S-Log3, HLG and Cine gammas, user LUT slots PPLUT1-4 and Gamma Display Assist.

Fast Hybrid AF
Phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus with 759 phase-detection points for stills and 627 for movies, sensitive down to EV-6 at ISO 100 equivalent with an F2.0 lens attached. Eye AF covers humans in movies and stills and animals in stills, with adjustable AF transition speed and subject shift sensitivity for movies.

5-Axis In-Body Stabilization
Sensor-shift mechanism compensating on five axes, rated at 5.5 stops for stills (CIPA standard, pitch/yaw shake only, with the Planar T* FE 50mm F1.4 ZA lens, long exposure NR off). Movie modes: Active, Standard and Off.

XLR Handle Unit and Audio
The supplied XLR handle unit adds two XLR/TRS 3-pin inputs with line, mic and mic +48V settings plus a third 3.5 mm input, connecting through the Multi Interface Shoe with digital audio interface. The body has a built-in stereo microphone, a 3.5 mm microphone jack and a 3.5 mm headphone output, and records LPCM up to 4 channels at 48 kHz 24-bit.

Dual Media Slots and Connectivity
Two media slots each accept CFexpress Type A or SD cards, with simultaneous recording, sort, auto switch media and copy. USB Type-C (SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps), Multi/Micro USB, HDMI Type-A, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and FTP transfer over wired LAN (USB-LAN), USB tethering or Wi-Fi.

Vari-Angle LCD, Body and Box Contents
7.5 cm (3.0-type) touch LCD with approximately 1.44 million dots, opening approximately 176 degrees and rotating approximately 270 degrees. The body measures approximately 129.7 x 77.8 x 84.5 mm without protrusions and weighs approximately 715 g with battery and card (630 g body only).
