40.2-Megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR BSI Sensor
The X100VI features a 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR back-side illuminated APS-C sensor (23.5mm x 15.7mm) paired with the X-Processor 5 image processing engine. ISO 125 is available as standard sensitivity. The sensor uses an enhanced image-processing algorithm that maintains a high signal-to-noise ratio at full resolution.

5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS)
The X100VI includes a sensor-shift 5-axis in-body image stabilization mechanism providing up to 6.0 stops of compensation. Digital image stabilization and IS Mode Boost are available in movie mode.

Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder (OVF/EVF)
The hybrid viewfinder switches between an optical viewfinder (reverse Galilean, approx. 0.52x magnification, approx. 95% coverage) and a 0.5-inch OLED electronic viewfinder (approx. 3.69 million dots, approx. 100% coverage). An Electronic Rangefinder function and OVF Image Display option are also available.

FUJINON 23mm f/2.0 Fixed Lens
The built-in FUJINON 23mm f/2.0 lens (35mm equivalent: 35mm) consists of 8 elements in 6 groups including 2 aspherical elements. Features include a 9-blade aperture diaphragm (F2–F16), a built-in 4-stop ND filter, and a minimum focus distance of approx. 10cm. Compatible with WCL-X100 II (0.8x, 28mm equivalent) and TCL-X100 II (1.4x, 50mm equivalent) conversion lenses sold separately.

20 Film Simulation Modes Including REALA ACE
The X100VI offers 20 Film Simulation modes, including the REALA ACE mode. Other modes include PROVIA/Standard, Velvia/Vivid, ASTIA/Soft, Classic Chrome, Classic Neg., Nostalgic Neg., ETERNA/Cinema, ETERNA Bleach Bypass, ACROS, and Sepia, among others. Grain Effect, Color Chrome Effect, and Color Chrome Blue settings are also available.

Subject Detection Autofocus
Intelligent Hybrid AF (TTL contrast AF / TTL phase detection AF) with deep-learning-based subject detection that tracks animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones. Zone AF is available in configurations from 3×3 to 7×7, plus custom zones from a 13×9 grid.

6.2K and 4K Video Recording
Record 6.2K video (6240×3510) at up to 29.97p in 4:2:2 10-bit H.265. 4K recording is available at up to 59.94p, and Full HD high-speed recording at up to 240fps. Frame.io Camera to Cloud is supported natively without additional accessories.

3.0-Inch Tilting Touchscreen LCD
The 3.0-inch rear LCD features approx. 1.62 million dots with touch screen support for shooting and playback. The two-way tilting mechanism stores flat against the camera body to maintain a compact profile.

Connectivity and Battery
Built-in Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless transfer and remote control via FUJIFILM XApp. USB Type-C (USB 10Gbps) for data transfer and HDMI Micro (Type D) for video output. Powered by the NP-W126S Li-ion battery with approx. 450 frames (OVF Normal mode) or approx. 310 frames (EVF Normal mode) per charge.

Continuous Shooting
Electronic shutter delivers approx. 20fps (1.29x crop), approx. 13fps (1.29x crop or full frame), and approx. 11fps full frame. Mechanical shutter provides up to approx. 6.0fps. Pre-shot burst mode is also available.

Storage and File Formats
Single SD card slot supporting SD, SDHC (up to 32GB), and SDXC (up to 2TB) media with UHS-I compatibility. Supports JPEG, HEIF (4:2:2 10-bit), 14-bit RAW (RAF), and TIFF file formats for still images.
