56mm prime lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a 28.5 degree angle of view on Sony E-mount.
f/1.4 Maximum Aperture
Maximum aperture of f/1.4. Minimum aperture f/16. 9-blade rounded diaphragm.
Optical Construction
10 elements in 6 groups, including an SLD glass element to correct axial chromatic aberration. The design relies on in-camera correction of peripheral illumination and distortion where the camera supports it. Sigma applies its Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce flare and ghosting.
Stepping Motor Autofocus
Autofocus is driven by a stepping motor, with an optical design intended for video AF. Compatible with Sony E-mount Fast Hybrid AF and with in-camera face and eye detection AF.

Minimum focusing distance of 50 cm and maximum magnification ratio of 1:7.4.
